As I've said before, I will try any recipe that calls for balsamic vinegar. I also try any recipe that calls for Worcestershire sauce. This recipe calls for both!
This was great served with potatoes and vegetables, but we used the leftovers for french dip sandwiches. They were delicious!
Combine the garlic powder powder, salt, pepper and onion powder. Rub on the entire outer surface of the roast. Let sit for 15 - 20 minutes to allow spices to penetrate the roast.
Place the roast in the slow cooker. In a small bowl, combine the vinegar, Worcestershire, soy sauce, honey, pepper flakes and garlic. Stir well and then pour over the roast.
Cook on low for 6 - 8 hours.
