Slow Cooker Balsamic Chicken

If you know me at all by now, you know that I will mix balsamic vinegar with any type of meat to make a flavorful recipe.  This chicken with balsamic did not disappoint.

  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoons dried minced onion
  • 8 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
    (about 24 ounces) or 3 breasts

Combine garlic powder, onion powder, dried basil, salt, pepper, and dried minced onion in a small bowl.  Rub both side of the chicken breasts with this mixture.

Pour olive oil in the bottom of the crock pot.  Dice the garlic and add to the oil. Place chicken on top. Pour balsamic vinegar over the chicken. 

Cover and cook on high for 4 hours.
