Chicken Tacos

It's easy to fill up a crock pot with chicken taco filling.  Then fill up some bowls on the side with all your favorite toppings.  Feed a crowd!  Or feed your family and have some great leftovers!

Ingredients:

  • 6 boneless chicken breasts
  • 4 teaspoons chili powder
  • 3 teaspoons paprika
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon  ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 16-24 ounce jar of salsa

Directions:

Place all ingredients in the slow cooker.  Cook on low for 6 - 8 hours.  

When the internal temperature reaches 165°,  remove the chicken breasts from the crock pot.  Shred the chicken with 
meat claws or two forks.  Return the chicken to the pot and cook an additional 30 minutes to meld the flavors.
