Crack Chicken

As you can probably guess from the name, this chicken is addicting! It tastes great served on a bun but when I ran out of buns, I just ate it with a fork and it was just as good! It would also be good with crackers. I chopped my bacon into larger pieces but you could crumble yours and that would be good, too.

  • 2 pounds boneless chicken breasts
  • 2 (8 oz) blocks cream cheese
  • 2 (1 oz) packets dry ranch seasoning
  • 12 ounces cooked bacon, chopped or crumbled

In the Crock-Pot, place chicken, cream cheese, and ranch seasoning.

Cook on low 6 to 8 hours or on high for 4 hours. You'll know it's done when the chicken shreds easily.

Use a large spoon or fork to stir the ingredients until combined. Add in bacon and stir to combine.

** Note from Marcia **
The above recipe is the original recipe that Jenny made.  I also made it for my husband and myself.  We found it a bit rich, so we stirred in a can of Ro-Tel and liked that variation a lot.  It can also be topped with shredded cheese for a different variation.
