Melt-In-Your-Mouth Pot Roast

I like to cook nice dinners and a lot of that cooking in done in my slow cooker.  When I decided I was going to make a website based on my slow cooker cooking, I knew my first recipe put on the site would be this Melt in Your Mouth Pot Roast.  I just can't get enough of it!

Ingredients:

  • 4 - 5 pound beef roast
  • 1 package dry, brown gravy mix (4 T)
  • 1 package Good Seasons Italian Salad Dressing, dry mix
  • 1 package Ranch dressing, dry mix
  • 1/2 cup water

Directions:

Place the beef roast in the slow cooker. Mix all of the dry ingredients together and sprinkle over the roast.

Pour the 1/2 cup water over the roast. Cook 7 - 9 hours on low.

* Cook's Note - It's important that you use "Good Seasons Italian Dressing" to reach the desired flavored of this pot roast.
