Scalloped Potatoes

I own more than one slow cooker, so it's fun to put these Scalloped Potatoes in one and a roast in another.  When I took this photo, I cooked a meatloaf in the oven while the potatoes cooked in the slow cooker.  Either way, you end the day with an unbelievable meal.

  • 10 - 12 small red potatoes
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can cream of potato soup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1-1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 bunch fresh chives, chopped


Slice the potatoes and place half of them in the crockpot.  Mix the sour cream, potato soup and Worcestershire sauce together and pour 1/2 of it over the potatoes.  Top with half of the cheddar cheese.  Sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon of paprika.  Repeat the layers and cook in the crockpot on low for 8 hours.  When you serve the potatoes, top with chopped, fresh chives.
